In February 2026, ANC Singapore was inaugurated: the first section of the Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri in Asia, dedicated to Carabiniere Scelto Vittorio Iacovacci.
The day
On [date to confirm] February 2026, members, families and guests gathered at the Embassy of Italy in Singapore for the inauguration of the section.
The section's banner, embroidered with the name of Vittorio Iacovacci, stood beside the Italian flag. Members, families and guests from the Italian community in Singapore were there to mark the moment.
The plaque
The section's plaque, dedicated to the memory of Vittorio Iacovacci, Gold Medal for Military Valour, was unveiled at the Embassy of Italy in Singapore. It also remembers Ambassador Luca Attanasio and their driver, Mustapha Milambo. It was a quiet, moving moment, and a promise to keep their story alive.
ANC Singapore is the first ANC section in the world dedicated to Vittorio Iacovacci. We thank the Ambassador of Italy to Singapore, Dante Brandi, for welcoming our ceremonies and the plaque at the Embassy.
A beginning
The inauguration was a beginning, not an end. Since February the section has gathered for the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic and the 212th anniversary of the Carabinieri, and welcomed new members and friends.
